KAJIAN EMPIRIS PERANAN SEKTOR KUNCI (KEY SECTOR)
DALAM PEREKONOMIAN SULAWESI TENGGARA BERDASARKAN
TABEL INPUT-OUTPUT TAHUN 2007

This research used secondary data from the data taken from table input-output of Southeast
Sulawesi in 2007 and Southeast Sulawesi in figure 2006 and 2007. The decisions of key sector were
based on some indicators: (1) have high backward linkage and forward linkage point of view. (2)
Produce high additional gross income (NTB). (3) Produce high multiplier output value. (1) Produce
high income multiplier und produce relative high output
The result of this research shows that
a. Some economic sectors that contribute to the surplus of export activities to the other place such as
sector of nickel (46,21), sector of horticulture plants (24,90%), sector of cassava plant 912,92%).
sector of marine fish and other marine output (6,52%) and sector of wood and other forest output
(4,14).
b. The biggest of economic sectors in output structure are administration/bureaucracy sector,
business sector, land transportation sector, nickel sector, and building sector. While the biggest
economic sectors in multiplier vulue structure are administration'bureaucracy sector, business
sector, sector of horticulture plants, nickel sector, and land transportation sector.
c. Based on criterion of multiplier butput, key sectors in the economic of Soutease Sulawesi are food
sector, drinks, and tobaco (code 16), building sector (code 21), services sector (code 31), dried
fish and salted fish (code 12) restaurant and hotel sector (code 31). Then based on criterion of
multiplier income, key sectors in this province are business sector (code 22), other industry sector
(code 17), bulding rent and service of compuny (code 29). food, drink and tobaco sector (code
16), and nickel sector (code 14).
d. Based on criterion of cross sector relationship, key sectors in the economy of southeast sulawesi
are food, drink and tobaco scelor (code 16), other industry sector (code 17), bank and other
finance sector (code 28), nickel sector (code 14). Cattle and the output sector (code 7)
