Radboud University is one of the leading academic communities in the Netherlands with a strong focus on research. Renowned for its green campus in the oldest city of the Netherlands, it enrolls over 19,000 students in 127 study programmes, of which 2 Bachelor's tracks and 33 Master's programmes are fully taught in English. Faculty of Science
The Faculty of Science is the largest of the seven faculties of Radboud University. It offers a broad range of specializations, e.g. biology, chemistry, astronomy, mathematics and computing science. Education and research are closely intertwined in multidisciplinary research groups, doing fundamental research in state of the art facilities. A major part of our Masters degrees consist of doing research internships, enabling students to work with our top professors. Through spin off companies our scientific discoveries are put to societal and economic use.

Prospective Masters students can choose out of 14 Masters with several specializations. Three of these Masters: Chemistry, Mathematics and Computing Science, were awarded the title 'best master's' in their respective fields by Dutch students. The academic research done at the Faculty of Science is of world class as well. This is illustrated by various international awards and prestigious research grants Radboud University received over the last years, such as the ERC Synergy grant and the Dutch Gravitation program grant of 26.9 million euro.

Nijmegen, a student-friendly city
Nijmegen is the oldest city in the country with some 165,000 inhabitants, 30,000 of whom are students, it is a true university city with a variety of restaurants and cafes. The cultural centre LUX-the largest art house cinema in the Netherlands-also offers theatre, music, debate, and multimedia. Students appreciate the many opportunities that the city offers for relaxation and entertainment. Nijmegen offers many cultural activities, from numerous museums, theatre, a concert hall and cinemas to happenings such as the International Four Days Marches, International Summer Festival, Rockin' Park Festival etc. It is a safe, friendly place to live and study.

Guaranteed accommodation and welcome Radboud University guarantees housing for international Master students who applied for admission before 1 April. All student rooms are furnished and located within 5-10 minutes reach from the campus. Before the start of your programme, you are welcome to take part in the Orientation, introducing international students to the university, the city, its students and its other inhabitants.
